I went under the knife. For reasons that cannot be shared. I wasn't happy with the way I looked. A nip and tuck can do a lot. I am just joking about the past few statements. I did go under the knife because for the past couple years I haven't been able to breathe really great through my nose, and have had constant sinus pressure (for those of you with allergy or sinus infections you know what this feels like). Then in the winter I was playing floor hockey and took a slap shot to the nose. It hurt real bad. I reckon that this also had a little bit to do with the breathing issue. I distinctly remember thinking one night...oh my gosh this is ridiculous i can't breathe!...then I called my mom complaining. So that was that when I came home we made an appointment with Dr. Rance Raney. Best ENT I think.

So tuesday August 23, 2011 I woke up as usual. My mom took me to the surgery center. And I got dressed in the hospital gown, and they gave me awesome blue socks with grippies on the bottom that, yes I still have them. The Dr.'s came in and talked to me. The nurse then administered some anesthesia and that is the last I remember, until I woke up in recovery. This is when some interesting stuff happened.

Recovery: As soon as my mom came back the nurse was talking to her and my legs started twitching at first, then began seizing. In recovery being fed ice I always used my please and thank-you's I remember thinking I am being really polite. And my mom told me I would always say please and thank you. Anyway back to the legs. My thigh muscles were contracting and I couldn't do anything about it. The nurse's and doctors had never seen this. The anesthesiologist hadn't seen this in his 15 years. So because my legs were contracting the first drug they tried was demerol this drug was supposed to relax me. That didn't work. Muscles still contracting - at one point I said my actin and myosin keep firing (this is the exercise phys coming out in me). Anyway demerol didn't work so they gave me a muscle relaxant that didn't work either. They they shot me up with Valium which should've calmed me down, but it didn't. At this point my muscles stopped twitching for about 20 min. Then the legs started up again and they seizing episodes got more intense. At this time they thought they should call the ambulance (I wasn't in a hospital - but at a surgery center for small procedures). Before the ambulance got there my legs were in constant seizure mode. The seizing didn't hurt but it was tiring cause I would hold my breath. So they gave me some more medication (don't know what) and that calmed it down. Then I was loaded on the ambulance and I started seizing again, so they gave me more medication. (Mind you the whole time this is going on only my legs are siezing. And I kept asking for water please and they were like we can't give you anything till we get to the hospital - that sucked, I was parched). So we go to the hospital in the ER legs are seizing again then they give me benadryl and some other drugs and the seizing stopped. I was then admitted to the hospital for observation cause this had never happened to me and the anesthesiologist had never seen it in 15 years. So I went into surgery at 7:30 am August 23, 2011 and came home at 6:00 pm August 24, 2011. While at the hospital I had an IV and had to ask for help (cause I was on a high risk of falling) to go to the washroom which was a pain cause I ate so much ice and had IV fluid. All in all the hospital was boring when I went home I was still drugged up. Slept really great all night, ate ice cream that I have no memory of except for the fact that I saw the bowl next to my bed that morning.

Glorious photos:

All happy before surgery.

Out of surgery the bloody nose begins.

I had packing in my nose and those strings got pulled out the next day. It hurt. I was not aware that there were splints in my nose as well until the Dr. pulled them out about a week ago. I thought my brains were coming with them!

Being loaded onto the stretcher about to go to the hospital. I remember them lifting the sheet to put me onto the stretcher...I thought I am so sorry I am so heavy.

Chilling in the hospital doing nothing. Food looked gross, didn't even eat it.

Yesterday hit my two week mark, that I am aloud to start working out. I went on a fairly quick 4 mile bike ride. This was the result...a super runny nose.

Hey Baby Lets Go To Vegas

I have been pretty bad at posting events in my life. Main reason being I didn't have a camera for several months because my mom dropped it. No worries though, got a new one.

For May long weekend I wanted to get out of Rexburg and as irony would have it so did Brittany - want to get out of Provo. Well where the heck would we go if we didn't go to each others home? answer: LAS VEGAS. This was very simple it would just be the two of us going. We are pretty down to earth girls and all we wanted was a place to sleep with a pool. So Brittany found a hotel that wasn't bad - it smelt of smoke and the beds were kinda hard - but it had a pool. We spent everyday doing stuff on the strip so it was really just a place to sleep, plus it had breakfast for us...BONUS! We arrived to Vegas at about 4pm on a friday and soaked up some sun for about an hour then got dressed and hit the strip. We parked at the mall and right behind it was The Wynn hotel. I don't know why but I was just mesmerized by it. I love that hotel, and I have never been in it. We continued to walk south and a restaurant came into view. We walked to serendipity where I thought I was going to die because I love the movie for one, and I didn't know they had one in Vegas - to go to this place and eat a frozen hot chocolate was on my bucket list. It was soo delicious. We continued walking down the strip looking at Vegas and just soaking it all in.

Me in front of the Wynn.

Brittany a babe in front of the Bellagio Where we also watched the famous fountain show, it was great.

While in Vegas you need to see at least one show, we opted for Cirque Du Soliel's performance of "O". It was a water show and truly amazing. The dives and flips these people do are truly amazing, wait I've already said that, but no other words to describe it. I loved every minute of it!

Me and the BlueManGroup. Yes they are fake, my parents actually went to the show a week later and really enjoyed it. This statue of them was from the wax museum there which I really wanted to go to, but Brittany didn't so we crossed that off the list early on.

In fRont of SerenDipity!!!!! We asked a bystander to take the picture, but were hesitant cause we only had Brittany's nice camera. You can never be too careful in Vegas but this man loosed trustworthy.

Us enjoying the famous FROZEN HOT CHOCOLATE! The girl who seated us was actually LDS, just a cool tidbit to find on the strip. The hot chocolate was sooooooo goood!!! we were seated outside right in front of The Flamingo where Donny and Marie's faces were plastered (Mom LOVES them) it was really nice just watching the hustle and bustle while you enjoyed a treat.

While crossing over to the Bellagio before "O" we spotted the wax museum with Indiana Jones and Whoopi Goldberg outside!

So we dared to enter the Bellagio Buffet. We went in at 1:30 pm which was cheaper than the dinner, but because we went in at this time we still got the brunch buffet as well as the dinner buffet. We ate for about two hours straight. I literally thought I was going to die. I am not even joking. You just had to try everything, and some things twice. I will never eat to that feeling again. I was like Brittany I think I am going to throw up, we need to sit down. So we decided to walk to the huge M&M store which was a mistake because the smell of chocolate was overwhelming and I thought for sure I would pass out. Walking in the heat with that much food, my organs working so hard to digest was not a good mix. I needed a palce to sit down and quick. So we moved to the MGM grand lobby where we stayed for about an hour while my stomach calmed down. The food was to die for. But maybe not die, cause it didn't not feel good. I believe this is plate number one.

Me happy with plate number one of three.

Plate number three was all dessert. Yes ALL dessert. I just had to do it. Live it up while your young. The plate included two creme brulees, yoghurt with actual gold leaf on it, small chocolate fudge cones....it just goes on.

This is me at the very end. Hating to eat the second creme brulee, in pain, feeling nautious, but I did it. Really hating my decision to eat "all you can eat"

That is the end. My trip to Vegas was a great success. We ate, we played, we gambled...well Brittany did cause I am not yet 21 haha. She really only put a quarter in the slots and had no idea what she was doing so we clearly lost at what we had tried to do. That would have been hilarious if we won something. Perhaps another trip, another time. If any of you have not yet been to Vegas which I am sure the percentage is only about 1% cause everyone goes to Vegas. Well in short....GO!!! You will love it. I love the heat, I love the atmosphere strangely enough.

Brittany and Bobby Get Married.

So last week I was able to be in the blessed event of Brittany and Bobby's wedding. We started the party off in Canada of course at our old home in Calgary. We stayed with our long time friends the Stephen's and had a blast there! They are such a great family we have been friends with them for about 20 years it is crazy. On Friday they had their reception at our old community center. I don't have any pictures from it because I didn't have my camera then so I will have to sneak some from my moms camera. The reception looked very nice! The food was great, and we had a lot of fun dancing afterwards! I love when old family and friends gather for an event like this. Anyway the next day we drove down to Utah because the actual matrimony would be taking place on tuesday which is what you see pictures below! It was a busy few days, I am happy that it took place, but am also happy that it is over.
Here is the beautiful bride!! Isn't she just glowing?!!

These are the Shane children. Lovely family. They are so fun to be around! Such colourful personalities and I mean that in the best way!!

These two boys are so cute. The one of the left is Danny (Bobby's brother's son), and the one on the right is Braddick (Bobby's sisters son).

Mom and Dads crew in Calgary minus some very important families.

The BRIDESMAIDS! - have you seen that movie? If not...well it's freaking hilarious. We missed Amanda here!!!

Bridesmaids and the Bride. So in love.

THE HAPPY COUPLE - YAYY!!!!!!

All in all the wedding went off with a bang. It was so great. Tears of joy - of course non on my part I don't weep, but serioulsy I dont. It was cute to see the parents cry, as a kid it's a rare emotion because we think are parents are legit superheroes and don't ever cry, but they do! Such prescious moments. I wish I could've been in the temple with them when they were sealed, I heard it was a great ceremony. With that being said. I congratulate Brittany on a job well done. Bobby is a great sir. Welcome to the family Bobby I look forward to learning more about you. Hopefully its not more surprising than the stuff I already know!! You TWO are awesome.

Life as I know it.

Well we meet again bloggers. Yes it has been almost 7 months since my last post. My life is just not exciting these days. I rarely have adventures to talk about, I mean since I lived in Australia my life seems...well at a stand still.

There have been some happy times I will begin the description now.
1. My sister Brittany is engaged!!!! She got engaged at the end of April I believe, and we love Bobby! He fits so well with our family, such a legit dude. SO happy for the both of them! Seriously though. I couldn't ask for a better brother-in-law. Here is a picture of the happy couple...its is one of my favourites of them!!

2. One day I arrived on facebook with some notifications. Somehow a photo from the past was posted. I love looking at pictures of when we were younger! It just brings back so many memories, plus we all had such creamy looking skin, and we were so cute!!!!!

I lived in swimsuits as a child also...

3. Well last semester one weekend us ladies (Renee, Brittany, myself, Amanda, Michelle all took a trip to Stephens cabin in MONTANA. Amanda and Michelle drove down from Canada and we drove up from Utah/Idaho. It was our last WHORAH. I don't know how to spell that...it kind of looks like I wrote whore even though that doesn't fit with the context of my sentence whatsoever. So that is besides the point. We just stayed inside the cabin all weekend and had girl talk! It was great because Brittany and Amanda are both getting married and Michelle is leaving on a mission so we won't all be togehter for a while! Here is a photo that we took:

I love these girls so much. We have been friends since we were wee babes and we don't need to keep in touch every time we get together it just feels like reuniting with family!

4. It seems as though I am the only single person left on the planet. All my friends seem to be dating or engaged. I am happy for them all! Ahaha despite my wondering of whom I will live with for the rest of my college career. Mind you that is also coming to an end. I believe that there will be about 7 weddings to attend in August, I will acutally only be attending 2. or 1. Still many friends are getting married! I wish I could post all pictures of them but that would be creepy....so I will just give them a web shout out...Erick and Addie, Erick and Chelsea, Brittany and Bobby, Spencer and Cassie, Hillary and Will (recent engagement congrats!) That is all of I can think of now! Wish ALL of you the happiest days on earth. Maybe one day I will walk in the footsteps that you have left behind.
5. School is coming to an end for me. Well I still have a year left by the light at the end of the tunnel is there. I definitely see it, don't need no binoculars or nothing! After this semester I will only have 2 left and an internship. My major is exercise physiology so if you have any family or friends in that field HOOK ME UP! I am trying to find an internship, I would really like to work with athletes basically I need ot shadow an athletic trainer for a team. So hear anything...hollar! After I graduate my plan is to attend massage therapy school in either Utah or Arizona because well those are both great places and there are lots of single people there. Despite my wanting to grow old with my two great danes Achilles and Hercules (I don't own them yet, but one day I am hopeful) I also wish to get married one day. Key word being one day.
6. About 2 weeks ago we got a little group togehter to go tour the Bodies exhibit in Idaho Falls. I love muscles and everything ot do with the body so it was really fascinating, even though I basically knew everything already thanks to the one and only Dr. Davis M.D who taught be everything in Bio 264 and 265. Okay I am only joking clearly I didn't know everything there. I am not THAT smart. But is was super fun. I loved the circulatory system the most I think. It was really fascinating to see all the capillaries and arteries without the body there. It is kind of a sad process how they got that though. Be warned this is a tad graphic. So after the body is dead the inject fluid through the veins that hards all the arteries, veins, and capillaries they then poor acidic mixture to breakdown the remains of the body and what you are left with is a complete circulatory system. After the museum we went to eat then walked by the river. Here is a picture of the whole gang.

While at the museum we pretended to play house, even though it was more like little house on the prairie!

Meet Dustin and Christina. They are one of the cutest couple I have ever SEEN. I am so honoured to call them both my friends, nay best friends. They are great! So fun to be around mainly because you don't feel like a compelte third wheel, more like a 4th or 5th.

I suppose this brings me to the end of my life. School is good, busy but good. I have no regrets nor am I angry, I love summer, I love playing with my aerobie frisbee, and I love playing the human rubber band. Also I see this gentleman every where I refer to him as red runners even though his runners only have a line or two of red. I am convinced he is the perfect person because he is tall and strong. One day I will meet him. Key word being one day.

Sincerely, Karl

Shout out to MA GIRL Kandle Jill Palm Stew

ahahah Kandice, yes I saw Lauren write on your wall with this name (the title of the post) and loved it so much that I thought to pop it in here for yah. Oh Kandice. I feel the need to give you a personal post, mainly because you are the only one who comments on my blog posts, and because well you da bomb. legitimately. During this post I will revisit some of our good times we have shared together over the years we have known one another.

Account #1 : Do you remember when we went to the chinese food place..FORTUNE FOODS right? And we ate the DELISH dumplings and my ears literally caught fire. Well figuratively speaking of course. They were so good, but for some reason those dumpling were and shall remain my kryptonite.

Account #2 : Remember how you refer to your dad somedays, most days, as K-POODLE. hahahaha and how ALWAYS laugh at it. It's just the way you say poodle, which I have adapted. Actually I will have you know as I sit in the HART writing this post, I am laughing to myself about K-POODLE. I will also say his hair looks so good now, embracing the poodle within him!

Account #3 : Picture us in the kitchen in apt 306 at the Ridge. Remember when we were talking about being all domestic. Or DOMESTICATED and you truly believed that was infact NOT a word. Then we were watching a movie or something on a colour television set and they said DOMESTICATED and you just stared at me open mouthed gobsmacked that it was actually a WORD!

Side Note: I don't know if I should be ending all of these accounts with question marks since I am saying remember? Please read at your understanding level, include the Q's if it helps you comprehend my sentences better.

Account #4 : October 30th and 31st respectively HALLOWEEN. We had no IDEA what to dress up as. Then about 50 minutes before we make our appearances at the hottest halloween parties we think of the MOSE magnificent most amazing costumes of our entire lives! Dressing up as a PAKISTANI couple was too good. I loved that no one knew who I was, we were just so authentically ethnic. You have great bronzer. Also the pedophiles! How random, creepy, and brilliant at the same time!! ONLY if we could've had a rapist van you know the kind that has no windows and is white? Yah that would've completed the outfit very nicely. Not to mention we probably would've made breaking news. I see it now headlines streaming across television screens : PERP PEDOPHILES PERUSE THE STREETS OF REBURG. We could've made history you and I.

Account #5 : Remember when we went to LION KING. And it was soooo good. And your mom made a whole bunch of snacks before the event and they are called jour d'ouvers. I have no idea how to spell that, but I know you will understand. And they were so tasty!! We road in a limo, and the AC was blowing so hard that your wylie coyotes ruined one or two picture from streaking into my face! hahaha

Acount #6 : Imagine the sunshine inside of SUNSPLASH. Remember how the person could never remember my name. Oh yes Carol, or Kristi. That made me feel really special. Also how we got sooooo tanned that summer. Yes I miss those days. We are both now like ghosts. Metaphorically speaking of course, cause we didn't die, although you did get married which is a lot like dying. JOKES! aha. But still we are like ghosts in regards to our skin colour, it lacks cappucino pigmentation. That was such a great summer wasn't it?

Account #7 : So your mom is a really good cook. Remember how we tried to make merangues one night. And we literally beated the stuff for 20 minutes and we were so excited, then we circles them perfectly on the sheet and waited and they were BARF. Hard work WASTED. Fun work, I truly believe that my biceps are much toner and stronger today from mixing it for so long. Maybe we can get togehter one day and make them again!!!?!?!?! Honestly though. Lets make some.

Well I love you Kandice. You are so funny. You will remain one of my good friends till the day I die. Which facebook has predicted to be Feb 18, 2013 incase you were wondering. You can be my ugogolizer. Also called Eulogist. I hope you are having a good semester!! I hope to see you in the WINTER. Maybe we can go boarding together! I know you will read this, and I look forward to your comment!!!!!!!!!

In the Spirit of Giving

Well I do love giving, but this isn't so much in the spirit of giving as it is in the spirit of thanksGIVING. I guess that should've been my post title. I could go back and change, but sometimes it's fun to talk it out yourself while others read a long and understand you reasoning for not changing some words. After all does it really make a difference if I were to write THANKSGIVING instead of GIVING? I think not. That is a rhetorical questions, do not answer it in the comment box please. ahah.

I am thankful for this Holiday season. Which makes me sound like I am referring to Christmas when in actuality I am referring to Thanksgiving. This could be a confusing, but I know you'll catch on eventually. Well there actually is no catching on that needs to be done because I just blatantly told you that I was actually referring to Thanksgiving.

I am thankful for family. I love my family. I love the ways we do and do not get a long. We are colourful characters. It is never quiet in the Percifield household when all 5 of us are home. It actually isn't quiet whenever I am home. I bring out the best in people ahah. I am thankful for my mom and my dad and the hard work they do and the examples they are to me.

I am thankful for Texas. Because it is a great state. Also because it doesn't recieve snow. I actually like the snow just don't like the cold. Unfortunatley they come hand in hand. I like going back home and seeing green, and my pool (even though the water is cold) and the sun, and the temperatures about 70!!

I am thankful for BYU-Idaho. I love this school, not always the courses or the people. But I am thankful for this school allowing me a full week to go home for this feastful holiday.

I am thankful for food. I love food. As you can obviously tell by my bod. I love turkey, cranberry sauce, STUFFING, mashed potatoes and gravy, sweet potatoes, and PUMPKIN PIE. It is so tasty. I am lucky to have not one, but two thanksgiving a year. This is one of the benefits of being CANADIAN and living in AMERICA you just celebrate both!

I am thankful for work. I am so forutante to have a job with great people. SHOUT OUT to Amy (I know you will read this), Elise, Kierstin and all you other great people!! You keep me young! I feel more grown-up because I have a salary. NBD.

I wish all of you a HAPPY THANKSGIVING. Travel Safely. Be Grateful. Be Thankful. Peace and Blessings.

a little late but..the PUMPKIN of 2010 is here!!

So this year I was debating over Dwight Schrute or Jack Sparrow. Might as well not keep Christmas waiting. And by that phrase I don't mean Christmas at all cause WE are the ones waiting for Christmas to get here not Christmas itself. As a particularly Christmas savvy individual I am strongly resisting my inner elf to start pulling out the lights, and Christmas music, and movies. But this is besides the point, how did I even get talking on Christmas in the first place...oh yes. I thought I would enlighten the lives of those who read my blog with some snarky comments. Well not really snarky but I think you get my drift. If not i'm sure you get the picture.

As I sit here in the Crossroads (that is what our school's cafeteria is called fyi-- it's nothing short of a happening place. It's actually a lot nicer than what most of you are invisioning...I am betting a lame school cafeteria) anyway it is not this at all. Food is pretty good, although I have to resist every temptation to go by that food, I can spend lots of money on food. Not necessarily a lot of food, just a regular portion size of food that really isn't to costly...around $5.00 none the less five a day ads up doesn't it? Back to the point...or are there points to rambles? I guess there could be. Sitting here is pretty entertaining...why you may ask...the fact that the Crossroads is loaded with over 100 people at lunch time is fascinating to me. Not the number of people...but the types of people. I LOVE PEOPLE WATCHING. It is so interesting to me to see boys and girls, guy and dolls, brothers and sisters whatever floats your boat interacting with people. Example number 1 (and I so wish I could've posted a video of this happening but it happened lickity split, and right before my eyes, no ones reactions could've captured it. This girl is sitting below me..(I am on a platform at a table that sits at least 7, however I am by myself I think i look more inviting htat way. Where as if I sit at a two seater no one will come say hi) and from out of no where this geeky looking boy runs over and slides across the table to sit by her. He earns ten points for 1. sliding with such finesse and 2...well actually just for that reason. No falling or flailing of the arms at all. Example 2. I love seeing people eat their foods. Hoping they don't look like a complete fool as they swing their mouth around to catch the cheese falling of a pizza...or arching their back as to hope not to get any pasta sauce on their shirts...which is inevitable we know it always happens..NAPKINS people...napkins. The humble workers of the crossroads (the male ones at least) much resemble Lurch from the Adams Family. Hunched over, swinging a pail full of water to clean tables. What sloppy students we have here. But really you would've thought a 5 year old was eating at the table....some times that is probably true...but sometimes it isn't. Also I love hearing fake people except for I don't. There are girls on campus who seem to have self esteem issues, not because they aren't pretty but because..(we aren't really sure what they are lacking...and by we I mean the people inside my head and I...jk I don't have voices.) but they just over-exaggerate everything, try to be really outgoing which just turns into obnoxious individuals. Notice how I haven't mentioned one name in this post? You know why...I learned a valuable lesson last night...not from my experience. But I was in the library and I happened to be sitting next to these two girls whom I don't know and they started ripping on this girl (who I know) they went on and on, I was just like...never talk about someone because you never know who is listening..also girls like gossip so it always finds it's way back to that person. Anyway so yeah...lesson learned, tough stuff. Then there are the innocent souls who are so tired that they just have to rest their wee heads for a mere moment of blissful shut-eye. To these folks I just want to go give them a blanket and a pillow and say "I'll wake you in twenty minutes". However those are not easily packable items. By backpack is full of goods -- advil, first aid kit, plethra of band-aids, granola bar, paper (obviosuly) but a blanket and a pillow just can't pack. Also...no post is good without a picture:

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/TLYYymeXCqI/AAAAAAAAAT4/FX8nJNTJM6A/s320/IMG_1440.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5527632850244274850" />
I love my siblings..even though this is only two of them.

Anyway if any of you really read this, hope you enjoyed it. I liked writing it enough to post it...or else it would've been a waste of my time. It's pointless babble really, but every now and then I find it interesting to see what people are thinking. Make a post of pointless babble.

7 Things

The number 7 will be a common occurrences in this particular post. It's been 7 months since I last posted. And there have been 7 significant evens.

This past weekend I went down to Utah for CANADIAN THANKSGIVING. While down there I met up with my friend Christina's family, her brother was blessing their baby Carmen. This summer Brittany and I spent a week at the Taylor house hold. We loved it in Tyler!! The Taylor's are so much fun. Anyway this past weekend we went to the baby blessing and reunited with them all. Christina, Benjamin, Brittany and Myself have so much fun together, he are some pics from our togetherness.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 181px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/TLUhzyoNL3I/AAAAAAAAAQk/hh5CW_EL8WE/s320/Taylor%27s+in+UT.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5527361291314605938" />

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 181px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/TLUhzgnK48I/AAAAAAAAAQc/81_QWaNKfdM/s320/3+Girls..jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5527361286478422978" />

For Thanksgiving Brittany cooked at TURKEY. Yes her first one ever, and it turned out fabulous. To prepare she watched a many of youtube videos, and paid close attention to what some great chefs do! It was a delicious turkey, so succulent. Stephanie made heaps of salads that we to die for! Everyone brought a little something, we had so much food left over!! Definitely had a great time!! Here is the gang:

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/TLUkKB9WKFI/AAAAAAAAAQ0/AiOzC9O4b8g/s320/Canadian+Thanksgiving.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5527363872410183762" />

3 Weeks ago I had the pleasure of travelling back to my home land...aka Canada for my friend Ben's wedding! We left Thursday night drove all through the night, and came back sunday night! I had so much fun!! It was almost a year before I had been there and I just forget all the goodies Canada has to offer me! We got Bubble Tea, Tim Horton's, shopped at Value Village, and I just loved being there with my friends. Renee let me live with her for the weekend, and I loved sharing her bed with her. She is the best!! Here are photo's from the wedding!!

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 309px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/TLUlJhxCKdI/AAAAAAAAARM/u0CyNIouL8E/s320/Ben%27s+Wedding+3.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5527364963280234962" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/TLUlJY8BwdI/AAAAAAAAARE/iElmUjVycDM/s320/Ben%27s+Wedding+2.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5527364960910426578" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 314px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/TLUlJScyKoI/AAAAAAAAAQ8/T_q6hRYmsE4/s320/Ben%27s+Wedding+1.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5527364959168768642" />

Now...Flash back to summer. I was super lame this summer and didn't take any pictures at all!! All these photo's send props to Renee Comfort. She documented my first Rexburg summer. I loved being here in the summer, met some really great people had a ton of fun!! Played human rubber band a lot, bridge jumping, Rigby lake, Camping, , weddings, Frisbee, slacked a little too much in school (yikes) But loved life!!

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/TLUmBrzlZZI/AAAAAAAAAR0/Og6b363n7SM/s320/summer+5.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5527365928047961490" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/TLUmBXmVMHI/AAAAAAAAARs/BsTG255yI1Q/s320/summer+4.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5527365922623664242" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 238px; height: 320px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/TLUmBAnCyRI/AAAAAAAAARk/uF-OFM39oTw/s320/summer+3.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5527365916452636946" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/TLUmA1h5e-I/AAAAAAAAARc/e9lWoyRh5oM/s320/summer+2.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5527365913478265826" />
No summer is complete without a Steph and Karl dressup night. I was sitting at the computer and Stephanie was just standing behind me looking like this for about ten minutes till she had to tap me on the shoulder. Naturally I jumped at the startling man standing behind me! I quickly had to join in on the dress up. The pink stuff is this zinc sunscreen that I am sure was expired it was greasy and was kinda hard to remove, but we do love to dress up. So I don't really care. haha
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 181px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/TLUmA8pRCYI/AAAAAAAAARU/w_1c3zyO6yg/s320/summer+1.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5527365915388217730" />
My friend Miklya's sister Caitlin got married this summer!! She was such a beautiful bride. We went to the wedding reception in Lindon. It was so nice, outside, sunny, great chocolate brownie dessert, and a dance to follow!! I love wedding functions!!<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/TLUmXRG-mfI/AAAAAAAAASc/VbcabPIyFkw/s320/summer+10.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5527366298838669810" />

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 228px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/TLUmW1EsRII/AAAAAAAAASU/-bhCcX2myg4/s320/summer+9.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5527366291312886914" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 233px; height: 320px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/TLUmW9uakGI/AAAAAAAAASM/_MgWqUIDLE8/s320/summer+8.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5527366293635371106" />

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/TLUmWvj_C0I/AAAAAAAAASE/un3QYx1A334/s320/summer+7.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5527366289833528130" />
For CANADA day a bunch of us got togehter and made POUTINE yum! and watched Strange Brew. Poutine is soo good. Even though this wasn't real, it certainly satisfied my tastes!!
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/TLUmWRmSUGI/AAAAAAAAAR8/dYAyWqKDrNA/s320/summer+6.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5527366281790115938" />
For the 4th of July Renee, Jenae and I all painted our nails patriotic colours, we then headed to IF to witness the fireworks!! It was a fun time. 4th of July is one of the biggest holiday's here I am betting. I love celebrating holidays!!!

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/TLUmqoMEZoI/AAAAAAAAATE/rb0VL2HS2q8/s320/summer+15.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5527366631451551362" />

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/TLUmqe0WmZI/AAAAAAAAAS8/nejDNxhzqZY/s320/summer+14.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5527366628936161682" />

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/TLUmqcm5bzI/AAAAAAAAAS0/8k7B2LqSVfs/s320/summer+13.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5527366628342853426" />
Michelle Brandley was at school in the summer, didn't hang out with her much which I regret she I always have such a good time with her. Such a funny lady!!! Anyway Brittany and Stephanie came to visit me one weekend and we of course hit up DQ because that's what we do here in Rexburg.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/TLUmpwvM65I/AAAAAAAAASs/aABE4zhvUIk/s320/summer+12.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5527366616566524818" />
This is us playing or rather posing in the human rubber band. We had so much fun playing this at porter park on days that were beautiful. Seriously hours wasted away. It is such a fun game, dangerous but fun. Susceptable to brusing but fun. Probably only allowed for ages 14 and older to play with. We let one boy probably around age 10 play and he got smacked to the ground, probably got a concussion poor boy. But we warned him. After that we didn't let anymore kids play.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 232px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/TLUmpqWoyhI/AAAAAAAAASk/rFlGbYEHWoY/s320/summer+11.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5527366614852880914" />
The picture above is a group of us playing the whip cream game. You put a dollop of cool whip or whip cream on your hand then flop your hand up to hopefully catch it in your mouth...the result is a creamed face...and you stink like rotten milk after. But enjoyable none the less.

So that about sums up my life in seven months. Lets see I am pretty sure there were about seven events that kept me going. Currently it is fall semester here at BYUI. It is personally my 5th semester. My how time has flown. I will prbably be graduating Winter of 2012 which is just crazy to think about. I actually need to start thinking about my life (I like to have plans FYI). Here are some photo's from the first couple nights back...SAMMY's famous pie shake shop opened up, they have held many events, this was one concert that a bunch of us went to. I love my friends!
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/TLUq79TDJfI/AAAAAAAAATU/bBhTTp8TMEI/s320/First+day+of+school+2.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5527371327222261234" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/TLUq7vCMUmI/AAAAAAAAATM/o03l_XHPNKU/s320/First+day+of+school+1.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5527371323393462882" />

Also...coming soon. Karl's famous pumpkin carvings...Each year I carve a masterpiece of a pumpkin. They take me about 6 hours to complete..yes I am hardcore. The past two years I have done these:

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/TLUsDy0Vq-I/AAAAAAAAATk/nCIpPT4pHHI/s320/IMG_1048.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5527372561359678434" />
(fall 2009)
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/TLUsDud9XaI/AAAAAAAAATc/Dx8gXvkE4QE/s320/gollum.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5527372560192069026" />
(fall 2008)
Get excited for fall 2010!!

Oh The Place's You'll Go!

This post was inspired by 1) my background it was called "the places you'll go" and 2) Dr. Suess's book "Oh The Place's You'll Go".

As most of you know my family moved to Perth, Australia July of 2009 because of my dad's job. We were so excited because this is a once in a life time opportunity! And it was a very good career move for my dad. So the family came here and they loved it! Life here is slow paced, really relaxing. The beach is really really close by and there are beach bums every where!

So "Oh the place's I will go"...My mom gave me and my sister this book when we went to college because you never know the places or experiences life will bring you. I never thought in a million years that I or my family would be living in Australia! So I took advantage of the opportunity and took winter semester off this year to come home and relax after a pretty stressful semester. When I got here I knew it would be hard to leave. Because I love the sun, and the beach, and really the life to come with it. I once told my dad that if I could I would buy a boat before a car. He told me that it was stupid because how would I get the boat to the beach? DUhhh....FRIENDS. I am guessing if I could find a friend to tow my boat to the beach they wouldn't hate lounging and playing in the water with it. Anyway that is just info about who I am aka I love being in the water and playing!

There have been positives and negatives of being here. I don't mean to be a negative nancy but the hardest part for me was not having the close friends that I had back at school. Granted there are singles wards at school, but I didn't think it would be THAT bad down here. There was NO singles ward. The singles were dispersed among the family wards. Some had 10-12 other aka mine had 5. The singles here were not young either well the ones in my ward. The other wards are like 30-45 minutes away, and just never had the chance to meet them. Anyway the singles in my ward are a little older 25-30 and working or finishing up school. not really the crowd I would hang out with. So that has deff been hard for me. I have REALLY REALLY learned not to take friends for granted. Life keeps throwing these learning experiences at me it's like one thing after another every single time! I am just thinking, I have learned!! Everything has stuck with me, obviously I am not getting something though! All I can say is THANK GOODNESS for facebook, through this wonderous invention I have been able to keep intouch with many of my friends whom I have missed SO much!

POSITIVES of being here! There are billions of things I have loved about being here that I possibly could not right all of them down, cause my fingers would fall off and my chance of getting carpal tunnel would porbably increase by 75%. So to name just a few...1)Home cooking!! Even though I don't eat out THAT much at school my meals are nothing like my moms! I have loved just having the family eating dinner together and socializing with them, and eating delish meals that I have loved for a long time!! I certainly do not look forward to having to cook again (the stove and me aren't best friends yet). 2) Doing laundry. I have the BEST MOM EVER!! When I come home from school she does my laundry for me, and I am so grateful for that! Even though it is a small thing and if she asked me to do my own I wouldn't mind, it is so sweet of her to do it for me even though I am almost 20. I love her for doing that!! THANKS MOM! I have ABSOLUTELY LOVED living in the LAND DOWN UNDER. It is unreal here. We live a short two minute walk to the beach and it's pretty private. I am going to take a video of walking there so you can all see! I have loved the sunny weather and skipping winter for once in my life! I will be going down to the beach right after this to soak of the last days of the sun before I head back to the ICEBURG. I have tried surfing a couple times, not as easy as it looks! Waves should be getting a bit bigger soon so hopefully I can get a good ride before I go!

There are only 7 days before I depart this blessed land for another blessed land. I am so excited to be going back to friends and half excited for school.

I just saw a ghost!

After my shower today I put on a mask to rejuvenate my skin ahah. While waiting for it to dry I sat in my towel on my bed on facebook. My friend Brett posted a picture on facebook about his experience with WOW - mainly that it ruins lives. He looked so hilarious in it, my eyes filled with water from laughter. I though to meself..I mean myself I shall take some pics of my ritual of after the shower. Because everytime I shower I sit in my towel for a good hour. One day I had a mask on and my sister Katelyn says "Are you okay?!? You look like you've seen a ghost!" Hence the name of this post.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/S7rAc0Xa5pI/AAAAAAAAAQM/mQIBdktTq0Y/s320/Photo+74.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5456885499838523026" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/S7rAciOBxfI/AAAAAAAAAQE/bSEkU7cqGqU/s320/Photo+73.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5456885494967289330" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/S7rAcE1aEGI/AAAAAAAAAP8/gMmockaU8f0/s320/Photo+72.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5456885487079395426" />

BALI BELLY

This past week was SRPING BREAK for the kidlets, and well the rest of the world. Instead of lazing by the beach for a week the family decided to go to BALI! Bali is in Indonesia incase you didn't know. And it is one of the shortest flights out if Perth (only 3 hours) so seeing that we have never been and will only be in Australia for a couple years we thought we should take advantage at how close we are to many places in this part of the world. So off we went.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/S7qY0C43oPI/AAAAAAAAANI/ksbuWSMgmMU/s320/IMG_1682.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5456841918408794354" />
We stayed at a place called Seminyak Suites, we had our own villa which had an outdoor kitchen/living room (pictured above). Each villa also had its own private pool (pictured below). I loved this part of it. I love to swim and just being in the water, so I swam every night and spent lots of time in the pool!

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/S7qY19l3eKI/AAAAAAAAANY/J32-xusZmx8/s320/IMG_1681.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5456841951346653346" />
We went to a Hindu Temple where we had to wear colourful sarongs because we were wearing shorts (below)

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/S7qgDhVD7oI/AAAAAAAAAOo/KTQeYQl_b6M/s320/IMG_1815.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5456849880859537026" />

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/S7qgExbVVdI/AAAAAAAAAO4/BZWddkHmvcM/s320/IMG_1801.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5456849902360679890" />
This temple had hundreds of monkeys. They liked to find garbage and eat the last crumbs of some left over pringles (above). There was one teeny tiny baby monkey, and he was so cute!! He had the biggest eyes, and was a little camera shy. He came out from under his moms belly to peek out see everyone! (below)

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/S7qgECq4hEI/AAAAAAAAAOw/oH5Aed6khn4/s320/IMG_1809.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5456849889809433666" />
Another day we took a little drive to this place where they had a fish spa. Basically you put your feet into this tank of these small fish and sit there for twenty minutes. These fish eat dead skin - which when you think about it is SO disgusting - it tickles a little bit at first but then you become desensitized to it haha. After twenty minutes you are done and your feet are so soft!! I would recommend doing this if you ever get the chance the way your feet feel is well worth it!

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/S7qgCwz1S6I/AAAAAAAAAOg/TNj9voqPil8/s320/IMG_1791.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5456849867835263906" />
Next up was Bali Safari and Marine Park. When we got there we were hungry so we ate some food. It was SO unbelievably cheap just like everything is in Bali. They had several different counters you could order from ie. Chinese, Western, Italian. I got Pad Thai, every chance I get I eat this delicious dish! It was only $4.00!
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/S7qeoSc4U0I/AAAAAAAAAOI/URitg6S5YxM/s320/IMG_1775.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5456848313497703234" />
Here we took a family (well minus me cause I was taking the picture and Brittany cause she is at school) picture infront of this HUGE elephant cave sculpture.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/S7qgCK7VrkI/AAAAAAAAAOY/5TieONbJNIg/s320/IMG_1749.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5456849857666199106" />
At this park we got see elephants bathing! A two lane road can easily turn into a 3 or 4 lane road. People were packed on there like pickles. (I say pickles cause they are packed tighter than sardines you'll catch on). Cars faced ongoing traffic at times waiting to turn around, if you wanted to pass someone just cross over onto oncoming taffic no worries. It's not AS dangerous as it sounds because driving over there although a thrill is pretty safe. People are in no real hurry and therefore are patient so it not like Germanic speed racing down the road. There is no public transportation system so everyone and I literally mean EVERYONE drives a motorbike. They are cheap and small easy to manouver through traffic.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/S7qenqh8N5I/AAAAAAAAAOA/8c0HIVtSyUo/s320/IMG_1784.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5456848302781511570" />

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/S7qY3fRxa7I/AAAAAAAAANo/6MXpk2l0D2I/s320/IMG_1697.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5456841977569045426" />

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/S7qY2cOikLI/AAAAAAAAANg/4qVF9nfprJ8/s320/IMG_1696.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5456841959570313394" />
Dad picked up some rice while we were at a restaurant. Rice fields are everywhere in the countryside. Rice is a staple crop here and eaten with pretty much every meal. I have seen pictures of rice fields but didn't know what the actual stem looked like, so here it is.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/S7qem8MJC2I/AAAAAAAAAN4/xParAq8SOdY/s320/IMG_1689.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5456848290342046562" />
We went to a DVD store and got about 50 dvds for $50 bucks!! As we ate dinner this is what we looked out onto. I loved seeing kids playing in the sand, and people walking along the beach. While we were waiting for dinner I decided to take some pictures of the kids at the beach. I love them in black and white, and how they turned out, so natural looking.
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/S7qgut27DBI/AAAAAAAAAPA/SWWUpo1bQfQ/s320/IMG_1822.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5456850622957161490" />

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/S7qgwk_PpyI/AAAAAAAAAPY/bJlus7U6APQ/s320/IMG_1833.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5456850654935885602" />

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/S7qgv1eaGlI/AAAAAAAAAPQ/m-wPvwXmNdA/s320/IMG_1826.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5456850642181691986" />

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/S7qgxJtI0iI/AAAAAAAAAPg/I0p-SX-6Jpw/s320/IMG_1838.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5456850664792052258" />

This was our seafood meal, complete with king prawn, lobster, fish, crab, and mussels (i tried one mussel, but didn't like them enough to eat the rest) I loved the LOBSTER though.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/S7qgvGw_bCI/AAAAAAAAAPI/3sKlIS8I7HI/s320/IMG_1841.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5456850629643168802" />
Bali was a great place to visit! After a week we were ready to come home. While we were there we got a massage every night! A full body hour long massage there is only $20 dollars. I slept so good!! My body was so relaxed and my muscles were so loose. That was one major reason why I was so sad to leave, those twenty dollar massages were a luxury! But it is good to be home for a short two weeks before I go back to school!

Coming Soon

I don't know how many people read my blog, but for those of you that do I just want to let you know that I am not neglecting my small corner in the cyber world. I like all genres too, wether it be fantasy, action, independent films, etc. So I thought that for a blog post I would comment on some of the movies I have seen lately, and just some movies that I love.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 211px; height: 320px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/S5NZqjtZcoI/AAAAAAAAAM8/oO8Q6Hy49Os/s320/Valentines-Day-Movie-Poster-2-valentines-day-2010-9477295-450-681.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5445794962096091778" />
Valentines Days wasn't a bad movie. I loved that there were so many actors and actresses (well known) ones in it. I like some of the stories in it. Some parts were a bit of a surprise those of you that have seen it know what I am talking about, those of you that don't I suggest you go find it. I would tell you one thing I love about the movie but again don't want to ruin it for you. Cute movie though, I found it a little slow. So I am not going to recommend seeing it and I am not going to say don't go see it. Up to you!

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 217px; height: 320px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/S5NZqeJA6hI/AAAAAAAAAM0/jwD8kSzu_Kc/s320/time-travelers-wife-movie-poster-02.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5445794960601311762" />
I actually read this book in the summer time and loved every minute of it. The movie was an excellent portrayal of the book. A couple details were different but all in all amazing. The character Henry and Claire specifically were casted so perfectly I couldn't have chosen anyone better. Some tears were shed not on my part but in the theater. Cute book, cute movie, go see it.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 217px; height: 320px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/S5NZpwipUNI/AAAAAAAAAMs/CxvIIeH6RaM/s320/stardust.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5445794948360786130" />
Stardust is a fantasy movie for sure! I love it cause it isn't all frilly and stuff, there are some deffinant dark parts to the film, and there is action and whit and funny, the story line is interesting and different. It came out in 2007 but I will watch it again and again for sure!

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 216px; height: 320px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/S5NZps5dj8I/AAAAAAAAAMk/NU6sKuh9HWU/s320/Inglourious+Bastards.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5445794947382742978" />
I love this movie, it was so well done. Brad Pitt just did a great performance as a Nazi Hunting American. Christopher Waltz is actually nominated for an academy award for best supporting actor. His role was "Jew Hunter" and again just did an amazing job. It is set in Nazi occupied France during WWII. I would HIGHLY recommend seeing this movie.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 224px; height: 320px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/S5NPqQesB2I/AAAAAAAAAMc/jkKxva3vRws/s320/guardian.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5445783961817843554" />
The Guardian is a movie that I will probably love forever. I first saw this movie when I was in Lifeguard training so I could relate that much more because my training was intense but not nearly as intense as USCG training. I loved this movie for a couple reasons. One - Aston Kutcher is a total babe in this movie (he trained for 8 months swimming etc) and he is just jaw dropping. Two - the movie is just genuinly good and it's about becoming a US Coast Guard and that to save a life you must sacrifice everything. The USCG motto is "So Others May Live" I think that is just amazing that in the worst storms people go out to save lives and are just so selfless and they truly are amazing people.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 209px; height: 320px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/S5NPpwUQSVI/AAAAAAAAAMU/GD8znkUnzB4/s320/downey+holmes+poster.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5445783953184147794" />
I loved Sherlock Holmes!! It was funny, whitty, dark, just a fun movie. I would also recommend this movie if you haven't seen it yet!

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 216px; height: 320px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/S5NPospjmeI/AAAAAAAAAMM/HbKN5jOHuhg/s320/Blind+Side.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5445783935019882978" />
The Blind Side - Such an AMAZING movie. I can't believe the life Michael Oher had. The Tuhey's were so loving to him and just gave him such a good life. It was a touching story and I hope that it wins an Oscar. Sandra Bullock did a great southern accent ahaha, but it was just such a great movie. Seriously every movie that is on here I would recommend seeing.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 214px; height: 320px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/S5NPoR-DiwI/AAAAAAAAAME/b-s-huVPPu0/s320/Avatar+Movie.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5445783927858105090" />
Now obviously if you listened to ANY of your friends you would SHOULD have seen Avatar by now. The graphics were just awesome!! I loved the different take on the Pochahontas story. I actually didn't realize that it was Pochahontas until my mom mentioned it. This movie is supposed to be the first of a possible trilogy. So until then I can't wait for this to come out on DVD

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 158px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/S5NPn92DwnI/AAAAAAAAAL8/ecZa1GJYeFs/s320/alice-2010-whole-poster.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5445783922455855730" />
I just saw this movie last night actually and I was a bit surprised, the preview made it look like it was going to be cooky and wonky I felt, and it was just different than what I thought. I LOVE Tim Burton, I think he makes great movies. Helena Boneham Carter, Jonny Depp and Tim Burton are a great trio and are found in many movies together (Sweeney Todd, Corpse Bride). All in all I thought the movie was O.K. Not my favourite of his work but still up there. There were some funny parts definatley such as "I love my fat boys" and "hello Um" the costumes and make-up were amazing. I would not not recommend and I would not recommend if that makes sense. Don't want to be held accountable if you didn't like it. Advice - read reviews.

Anyway hope you enjoyed my little movie critique. Let me know if you have any movie that you would recommend me to see!
Till next time xoxo

A Colourful Creation

Today was one of Katelyn and Brandy's friends birthday. They made her a cake which then made me want to make a cake. So tonight after dinner us 3 made a cupcake cake. The box asked for 1 cup of water...usually one would go to the tap measure out the one cup and pour it into the mix, but not Katelyn. She went to the fridge filtered water dispenser and measured out the one cup. I asked her "dude what are you doing?" she said "I want it to be nice and clean" HAHA

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/S3QC1tTiinI/AAAAAAAAAL0/iJsfGHqqbMQ/s320/IMG_1643.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5436973771860904562" />
Next we split the batter and added food dyes to make a colourful cake!
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/S3QC01iXzRI/AAAAAAAAALs/Ssu2XmAbwPo/s320/IMG_1644.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5436973756890729746" />
That is what the cake looked like inside. I actually enjoyed the 14 hour flight from LA to Sydney because I was able to was 6 movies! I watched 2 then I started getting a little tired so I shot a 5 hour energy drink and watched 4 more! It was great. That is how I recommend getting through that flight..MOVIES. When we got here we had Christmas with the family which was great! It was so good to be all together again. Then on the 28th we flew to Brisbane (Brizzy they say) to do some travelling. There we went to the Steve Irwin Zoo, it was cool. Lots of Steve Irwin memorial stuff there. His wife Terry and their kids Bindy and Bob were there and they all came to feed the crocs! Bob is SO cute.
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/S2UyjvZycTI/AAAAAAAAAI8/eYHvlnO7A9Q/s320/IMG_1293.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5432804115093811506" />
I wish I could've gotten a closer picture. But here is Terry Bob and Bindi

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/S2UyirtXRpI/AAAAAAAAAI0/Xfew6OMGJCg/s320/IMG_1314.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5432804096922306194" />
The signs just as you go into the zoo.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/S2U2wbRbFDI/AAAAAAAAAJU/__IPs4QTGqQ/s320/IMG_1334.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5432808731074827314" />
This is Lake McKenzie, it's on Fraser Island. Fraser Island is made completely of sand, there are no rocks. To get to this lake we endured a VERY bumpy ride for a couple of hours but it was SO worth it. Lake McKenzie's water comes from rain, and leaves by evaporation. It is the purest water you will EVER swim in. There are no fish in the lake, it literally tastes like bottled water. The sand on the beach is white and is like powder. I loved it here, if I ever go back to Brisbane I will for sure try and go there again. They are so keen on keeping the pollution down in the water that they ask you to use as little sunscreen as possible. The water is just so pure and clean I love it!

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/S2U2vYglMlI/AAAAAAAAAJM/M0rIGwy5qPo/s320/IMG_1321.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5432808713153229394" />
This is Noosa Beach. It was so nice the day we went! I never wear sunscreen and I didn't this day either, I payed for it aswell, got a really nice sunburn. I loved Noosa didn't want to leave, I could see myself easily living there for the rest of my life. The waves were so great there, we had a lot of fun body surfing.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/S2U2uthllcI/AAAAAAAAAJE/9Abj6i2Dy04/s320/IMG_1320.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5432808701614724546" />
Some more of Noosa.

Next Stop....SYDNEY
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/S2U5s52Kq7I/AAAAAAAAAJs/bZIbmLU3HD4/s320/IMG_1549.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5432811969097411506" />
In Sydney we went to the Olympic Park. I was the only one who really wanted to go, since I LOVE the Olympics. It was cool to see the stuff for sure, here is a statue at the Olympic park.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/S2U5sSYwmLI/AAAAAAAAAJk/LZVotAujTq0/s320/IMG_1468.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5432811958505085106" />
Brandy and Katelyn posing with the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/S2U5rl4vviI/AAAAAAAAAJc/As5Z0C8fQNs/s320/IMG_1458.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5432811946559651362" />
We OBVIOUSLY had to see the all famous Sydney Opera house. It was so cool to be there and see it in real life, not just in movies.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/S2U8y6TjtII/AAAAAAAAAKE/MJcLXTeDNzg/s320/IMG_1564.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5432815370834785410" />
Before I go on I need to thank my mom for booking the best hotels EVER. In each Hotel we had such great views of the city we stayed in, it was great for pictures! I am not going to post all the pictures because it would just take too long. Anyway this is Bondi Beach. Great beach! It was a 10 minute bus ride from our hotel. If you go to Sydney I would reccomend staying at Bondi Junction...there are so many little shops, and the mall is right there and the bus stop is too!

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/S2U8ybwg3yI/AAAAAAAAAJ8/0Nl5mSUiNHI/s320/IMG_1569.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5432815362634735394" />
Us 4 kids (Brittany left either this day or the day before to go back to school) and Mom at the Sydney temple.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_IoPVJ04RHbQ/S2U8x7QxWeI/AAAAAAAAAJ0/yLqwXzb_7mw/s320/IMG_1609.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5432815353911663074" />
Also if you are ever in Sydney...you MUST go to Burgerfuel. Best burgers on the planet that I have come across. Brittany came here with Amanda two years ago, and we revisited it twice while in Sydney. Burgers are HUGE and just great!

There is just so much to do on the EAST side and so many things to see. I loved it over there! I hope if the opportunity arrises for you to go to Australia I hope you take it without hesitation. The people are so nice, the beaches are out of this world, and food is pretty good!! Till next time xoxo

Times Flying and I am Standing Still

I cannot believe how quickly this semester has gone by! It seems like only yesterday I arrived here and started one of the hardest semesters I will ever have. Despite everything that has happened this semester I wouldn't change a minute of it, because it would not have made me the person I am today. School has been a more challenging semester, I was taking Chem 105 and Bio 254 both demanding classes I hate to admit but Chem REALLY took over my life Bio for surely took a back seat. I studied chemistry at least 2 hours a day, and it became a joke between my friends and I that we were dating. Lots of people ask me "got any guys in your life?" or "are you dating anyone?" Each time I was asked I had two responses, 1. "No I go to school!" (i would say this with an almost insulted look on my face, as in UM I GO TO COLLEGE I don't come here to date...totally kidding, although I know I will never get married, I will tell you more about that later in the post) or I would say "Yah I am dating this really great guy his name is Chemistry, It's an abusive relationship but I can't seem to tare myself aware from him!" And that would be all laughs....well at first people were really excited then they realized it was a fake. I am glad to say that now I refer to Chemistry as my boyfriend, it makes me feel like life is more exciting than just school. ahah I have also met and HUGE amount of people in the library this semester, cause I spent so much time there, I have a legitmate seat in the library and most people know I sit there and keep it vacant every now and then we have the newbies coming and they just don't know that it is my seat so I let them sit there just that once. Many people tell me that I spend way too much time there! Which is kinda bad, cause they ALL assume I am some sort of genious who gets all A's and well hellen that is just not me, and so I have tried to cut my time spent at the library maybe they will think I am slacking and my B grades won't seem so bad to them. Hahah. That is pretty much all of school has to offer in stories.

This semester has also been harder because my FAMILY moved across the world to Australia, and it has been hard knowing that they are so far away. Before I could call home whenever I wanted (I am a total Mommy's girl and love talking with her) But not I have till wait till at least 4 pm to talk and I has just been hard communicating, and I miss them very much!! I am so excited to go home for Christmas and stay there in the SUNNY weather till April. This is one of the reason's I am so thankful for technology (skype, facebook, cell phones) the way we keep connected.

Last reason why this semester has been not as great, I have had some friend problems. My whole life drama has NEVER followed me around, and have NEVER had friend issues. Senior year the last 2 months of school drama hit me like a ton of bricks, that is a different story though...anyway this semester I came back to school for two reasons: 1. Because I had an overwhelming feeling like I needed to be here (still don't know why) and 2. Because I wanted to spend more time with one of my best friends before we separated for a little while. Well lots of things happened, and we didn't end up spending as much time together as I would've liked, and I totally take into account all the events that occured, because LIFE HAPPENS and it is through life that we learn these valuable lessons. What I have learned this semester include: - friends are more important than you realize. Friends are the people who will be there for you (especially at school) when your family isn't. Friends will help you through the tough times and rejoice with you through the good times. Friends are the one's that will cry with you when you are sad (or if you don't cry and just get choked like lots of us they come and lay with you even though they are in a towel just out of the shower and still wet). Just like any other relationship friendship takes work, and if you are on a bumpy road you have to give more effort than just a day, and effort has to come from BOTH parts, not just one side. Friends are going to grow with you, and see you grow and change. Friends are going to be there for you your whole life, no matter what fights or arguments, or anything else that happens along the way. Some friends you will consider family no matter what happens! Good friends are hard to find, harder to leave, and impossible to forget. There is a qoute I found and it goes like this "Everything is okay in the end. If it's not okay, it's not the end" If there is one piece of advice I could give out, it would be to NEVER give up, just look at that quote "if it's not okay, its not the end" Although the semester didn't go as I had hoped I wouldn't change one minute of it because I wouldn't have learnt all of this!

Now for why I am never going to get married: Well I spend lots of time in the library doing chemistry questions. I spend lots of time in the library when I should be going out on dates, actually I never get asked out maybe it's cause I spend too much time in the library. ANYWAY my chemistry teacher Sis. Hanks...love her to death! She is awesome, is not married. And after a really hard test that most of us didn't do too hot on, she decided to give us a little speech. She said that you know in life you have a plan, and maybe some of us are wanting to be dentists or doctors and you know maybe that's not the path we should be on. Her whole life she always thought she was going ot get married and have kids, but she was always doing chemistry questions when she should've been going out on dates and at first it was hard, but now that she has realized her purpose in life she is okay with it...DUN DUN DUNNNNNNN my life was foreshadowed by Sis. Hanks. THANK YOU! I now know where I will be in 15 years....I will be teaching at a HS coaching track and field, and also being a personal trainer...no husband, no kids, yes this is hard to think of at first since I am only 19...but I am okay with it thanks to Sis. Hanks!!!

Hopefully you have enjoyed reading this post. I shall post more often, and post pictures. Till next time...xoxo Gossip Girl haha.

Summer Thus Far.

Summer of '09 has been pretty good to me. I've met lots of people in Calgary (mainly just because Brittany was friends with them when she lived here and through her I have been introduced). Because of traveling and what not I did not have a job this summer. By the time we were done traveling it was the end of july, and I actually head back to school the end of August so it really left no time for me to get a job. So I have been just chilling. I go on bike rides when it is sunny outside, so I've done that about 4 or 5 times aka Calgary has been rainy slash cloudy for several days, I am not a fan. None the less every night is pretty fun. There are about 5-15 of us who hang out. I'm not sure what we even do....hahah...play games, Wednesday nights at the wave pool they let you go in for the last hour for only 2 dollars so we do that then go for wings. It is pretty fun, lots of socializing that's for sure. We've gone to two drive-in movies up at Deerfoot Mall they are free so they attract lots of people, but that has turned out to be fun. We gather out blankets and people with trucks and big cars head up there and watch a movie. On Monday night some YSA got together and played volleyball for 2 hours. I cannot believe how sore I was after that. 5 days later and I am still hobbling down the stairs haha.

One of my good friends Kandice Palmer has a condo in Invermere, so last weekend she gather up some kids and took a weekend trip out there. We had so much fun!! Brad took some pretty solid belly flops only because he was doing the superhero pose, and sacrificed his bod to get a good pic! Another night we had a football and the four of us were on the sides of teh pool and we would throw it to one another while jumping in. It was lots of fun, took a while to get through all 4. It's al ot harder than it sounds! haha

Here is the whole crew minus Topher and Max who graced us with their presence for two days!

Us girls jumping the one night!

4 man totem pole!!!!

We had some fun with out wet hair, made us some staches.

The last day we were there it was pretty windy and cloudy but non the less us girl stayed outside for about an hour or two trying to get a little tan.

On our way home we stopped and took a picture by the mountains! At first we were like "Mom, Dad we are resort people not cruise people." But by 2nd or 3rd day into the cruise we said "We love cruises!!" It was so much fun, tons of activites for the whole family. Cole made a couple friends and played with them the majority of the time. He also loved going to the arcade. Us 4 girls obviosuly sunbathed and read books and ate lots! There are several perks of going on a cruise rather than going to a resort. Perk #1: The food is much better in my opinion. Perk #2: You save on money, instead of going to a resort for 7 days to one place, you go to 3 places in 7 days!! And I really like that, cause in a resort you maybe go out of the resort 1 or 2 days and do an activity. Well on a cruise you do the activity in the one day, and you can still tan and swim and all that fun stuff. Perk #4: If you go on a family cruise, there are lots of stuff for every age group. Kids make friends, and really enjoy themselves. That is all i can think of. Next time we cruise I would LOVE to go to the Mediterranean and hit up Greece, Italy, and Spain!!!

<img style="display:block; After the climb we went the beach where we had some Jamaican cuisine, which consisted of chicken, veggies and rice. I really like the veggies, Katelyn really liked the rice, and Brittany really like the chicken. But all of it was really good!

Mom and Dad at the Formal Dinner.

(L-R) Katelyn Brandy Karly Cole Brittany

The Kids before one of the Formal Dinners. The food was soooo good, and you could orders as much as you wanted!

More Winter '09

Getting Groceriessss.

In school, when we would go grocery shopping -- which happened only about 4 or 5 times -- we only wanted to make one trip up those blesses 34 steps to the third floor. So one day when we returned home, we found that we had an abnormally large amount of groceries. So that we didn't have to make so many trip in the freezing cold....i decided to pack almost all of them on myself.

I not only had groceries strapped to me and in my hands but also some were put in my backpack.

I ended up weighing 220 lbs i think.

The Spoonmaster 3000:

This is probably the most tragic story this semester. My friend Kandice Palmer had bought this piece of furniture from some guy, and she had it in her APT fall semester. Because she is on the summer/fall track I told her I would babysit it for her for the winter. Well Lo and Behold after about a month this guy came over and was like yah this is mine, I'm taking it. I was like "uh no, this is my friends, I am just babysitting it for her." We argued for a little bit, I told him if you take it you need to call Kandice and tell her. So he did, and he took it the next day. The question that lingered in my mind, was HOW THE HECK DID HE FIND WHAT APT I WAS IN? AND HOW DID HE GET MY PHONE NUMBER....some people are really good at creeping. So this is the apt the day he took it, as you can see I am not very happy.

This is me in the spot where the spoonmaster sat. It has been so long since I last posted, not because my life is so busy being in college (it really isn't) but merely because I am just too lazy to get on here and tell stories and post pictures. So I will split the last 5 months into a couple posts so that you can get all caught up!

BYU-IDAHO WINTER SEMESTER 2009

So winter semester was pretty good! I got to live with Renee Comfort, and she was just so DELIGHTFUL!! I loved living with her, she was so much fun, and winter semest would not have been as good, or the same without her. I had really good roommates aswell, we bonded more to the end of the semester which was sad, but still had SO much fun with all of them. Here are some pictures from the semester.

So this semester Renee and I were very creative with how we did somethings. One night we wanted brownies, but we had no beaters, thus forcing us to use our hands. It was messy, but fun, and the brownies tasted pretty good. Another night we wanted snow cones. Well that was easy to make, one we live in Rexburg in the frigid WINTER!! and snow is all around us, so we went out, got some CLEAN snow, and then mixed water with some grape propel, dipped the snow in the propel and viola! Insta snow cone!

Here you can see our bowl of snow, and the pink cup contains the grape propel mixture!

my computer is having problems. So this for now I guess.

Last Week Before the Break!

Well I cannot wait for Thanksgiving break! For a couple reasons.

Reason #1 : Here at BYU-Idaho we get a full week of. This coming saturday I will be flying back home to Texas and cannot wait to be home, out of this bloody cold. Being away from home you really do appreciate all the little things your mom does for you (laundry, dinner) I hate doing laundry I think I have only done it three times while away from home, and I cannot wait to have a home cooked meal, and just chill out and not have to worry about homework, or getting up at 7 am. So for that I am very thankful for this break that is quickly approaching. Plus Im excited to see all me family. I definitely cannot stand some roommates and look forward to being back home with people I have lived with for 18 years!

Reason #2 : Twilight is coming out FRIDAY! Oh my gosh I absolutely cannot wait for that movie to come out. I have read all the books, twice. Which is probably less than some of you but still I cannot wait. I wasted countless hours this summer trying to see as much of the movie as I can before it comes out. Honestly I can say, I am a little sad with Edward, at first I thought he would be amazing, but now he is only pretty good (he need to get more muscle i think, plus there is an actor who is better looking and has muscle that could've been Edward) Bella looks good, I think it matches her character in the book really well. The best actors cast are Rosalie, Emmett, and Alice. I think they look exactly how the characters should look! I saw a picture of all the vampires sitting at the lunch table and my mouth just dropped open. I could not believe how good looking they were. I literally felt like one of the students who was just jealous of how great the Cullen's looked. (This is a picture that I found that I think shows the characters pretty well...we'll obviously just have to wait for the movie to really tell!)

Reason #3 : After this week of school, we have Thanksgiving break for a week (aka NO SCHOOL) Then after that school is almost over. I am officially done my first semester as of December 12, 2008. I just counted 15 days of school after the break. I can't believe how fast this semester has gone by. Surprisingly college is not as hard as I thought....yet. But I totally love it. It's nice not having anyone to tell you what to do, or be home at a certain hour (hopefully those rules are not reinforced when I go back home) But I have met so many great people here, and some of them will be leaving me here in Rexburg (they are summer/fall track) and I will miss them so much!

First Post!

Hello Bloggers!...A couple of my friends have blogs, and I just love reading about their interesting lives.
